There is limited parking at the Cathedral Cabins; thus, the adjacent parking areas are for those guests only. Any overflow and all other guests may park off of Ledgerock Drive around the fenced area. Boat parking is also in that general area. Boats should not be brought into the Cabin parking areas due to strategic drive paths and a lot of trees and boulders (with the exception of Cabin A).
Lodge Suites, Cathedral Cabins or grounds left unnecessarily dirty will incur additional cleaning fees. Minimum amounts are: Lodging Suites= $75, Cabins= $100, and grounds: per incident. Please contact management for emergency cleaning needs.
Unregistered guests will be charged $50 per night, per guest (to the credit card on file). In addition, other fees will be added for non-approved use of a Murphy bed. Unregistered Pets will be charged $100 per stay IN ADDITION to cleaning/remediation/odor removal costs associated with the unauthorized stay.
Cancellations received more than two (2) weeks/14 days prior to the reservation arrival date will receive a full refund, less a $50 administrative fee. Cancellations received within two (2) weeks of arrival, will result in forfeiture of one night’s fee plus administrative fee of $50. The credit card on file will be charged this amount.
Cancellations received more than thirty (30) days of arrival will receive a full refund less a $25 per room administrative fee. Cancellations received within thirty (30) days of arrival will result in forfeiture of the first night’s rent plus $50 administrative fee. Failure to confirm the scheduled date of arrival will result in the forfeiture of the entire reservation.
No refunds for early departure:
If your travel plans change and you must cancel your reservation or shorten the length of stay, please contact us as soon as possible. If you are asked by the management or Sheriff to leave early, no refund will be granted.
Is grounds for: removal by the Sheriff, towing of vehicles, and forfeit of all room charges, deposits AND assessment of any damages or additional violation fees. Underage drinking is also not tolerated and any illegal alcohol or drug related activities will immediately be referred to local authorities for prosecution and immediate removal from the property.
We prefer you not bring any pets to Canyon Lakeview Resort as they tend to disrupt our resident wildlife (especially our deer), Resort cats, and other guests. We do not allow guests to leave their pets unattended ANYWHERE IN THE PROPERTY (at ANY time) as many tend to bark. However, if this member of your family frequently enjoys get-aways with you and you are willing to attend to your pet 100% of your time while visiting us, we require the following: A $25- $35 pet FEE, $250 pet DEPOSIT, and signed PET CONTRACT– these items are REQUIRED PRIOR TO ARRIVAL and are valid ONLY after the pet owner understands and signs our “Canyon Lakeview Resort Pet Agreement” which outlines each of these items. Our management will provide final clearance for any pet request (based on several factors including: breed, size and number of pets) and provide an emailed contract (via email) to those qualifying pet owners. Please do not assume your pet will be approved. Call ahead and be aware that there is also a $500 Comal County fee for unattended pets (off leash) at large, enforced by the local Sheriff’s office. If your pet is not trained, chases deer and/or barks out-of-control, please do not bring them with you.
Individual hot tubs are located on the lower deck of each Cathedral Cabin. Hot tubs are primarily for adult use. No children under the age of twelve (12) are allowed in the hot tubs. Contamination of the water by misuse will impose a minimum $100 charge to the credit card on file. The Hot Tub Policy will be provided with your Cabin confirmation and again on arrival. Please adhere to the policy to prevent additional charges, and contact management with any questions.
Use Hot Tub At Your Own Risk!
The hot tub is designed and intended for therapy and relaxation. It is NOT a “play pool” or bathtub. The hot tub can be easily contaminated by improper use, which may cause skin irritation and/or infection (and an additional damage fee charge to your account). We have treated the water chemically prior to your arrival. We are not responsible for any adverse reactions you may have either from the chemical treatment or from any bacteria contracted during your stay. A severe health risk is present for small children and pregnant ladies due to high temperatures. Please consult your doctor before use.
- Do not enter the spa without first showering to prevent contamination.
- No children under the age of 12 are allowed in the hot tub.
- Keep the hot tub completed covered when not in use. This prevents contamination and helps maintain temperature control and safety.
- Watch all persons in the hot tub so to prevent possible drowning.
- Anyone with a heart condition or other health issues should consult your doctor before entering the hot tub.
- Do not remove or tamper with the chemical bromine dispenser or filter.
- Do not take food and drinks with you into the hot tub. Food and beverages quickly destroy the pH of the hot tub and cause contamination.
- Do not urinate in the hot tub.
- Do not splash water out of the hot tub. GFCI breakers may trip and shut down the hot tub. If your water levels appear too high or too low, please contact the management ASAP.
- Do not enter the hot tub wearing dirty clothes; this especially includes the swimwear that you had in the lake water.
- Do not use soap or any additives in the hot tub.
- No pets are allowed in the hot tub.
- No smoking is allowed in the hot tub! Nor candles on or around the hot tub.
- If the hot tub water develops a foul odor or is visibly dirty, it has likely been contaminated. Discontinue use and contact management ASAP.
- Do NOT let the water level go below the jets. If water needs to be added, call management first.
IMPROPER USE OF THE HOT TUB WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL DAMAGE FEE CHARGE
A credit card or cash deposit:
Is required to secure all reservations. Your deposit (50% of total room charge w/taxes and fees) will be charged to the credit card on file at the time your reservation is made. Once this deposit is made, any cancellation for individual rooms PRIOR to 14 days from your planned arrival date is refundable LESS a $50 administrative fee.
Is due TWO WEEKS PRIOR TO YOUR ARRIVAL. We are a prepay property, and we try to contact our guests 14 days prior to their arrival for final payment and official confirmation of their arrival. Ultimately, it is your responsibility to secure the final payment.
Cancellation and Rescheduling:
If a guest cancels within the last 14 days prior to their reserved arrival date—there is a one night’s stay forfeited (plus administrative fees). There is a $50 charge to reschedule your reservation if rescheduling before 14 days prior to your arrival. You may not reschedule within 14-days prior to arrival. We are boutique property and cancellations severely impact our financial viability. Large group reservations require 30-day advanced notice for reservation changes (plus administrative fees). Please contact management to learn additional details.
Rates are based on the maximum occupancy (two persons per king/queen or one child per bunk bed) of the Suite or Cabin being rented.
LODGE SUITES are all one-bedroom suites. Our UPSTAIRS Lodge Suite rates are based on TWO (2) adults. Our DOWNSTAIRS Lodge Suites rates are based on TWO (2) adults and TWO (2) children. UP TO TWO (2) additional adults or children are allowed (per suite) with the use of our Murphy beds (drop-down, queen beds in some units’ living rooms) at $20 per stay (regardless of days stayed—double suites: $20 x 2 = $40). There is a $50 fee assessed to the card on file for the unauthorized use of a Murphy bed AND/OR the addition of EACH unauthorized guest. Please plan for your occupancy level; do not attempt to add additional persons to the room without contacting management in advance. ONE additional infant is allowed per suite over these occupancy limits.
CATHEDRAL CABIN rates are based on TEN (10) person or TWELVE (12) person occupancy (two persons max per king/queen). Three Cathedral Cabins have a Murphy bed. Cabins are priced accordingly. Under NO CIRCUMSTANCE shall more than TWELVE (12) persons (infants excluded) reside overnight in any cabin. TWO (2) additional infants are allowed per cabin over these occupancy limits. If you wish to have day guests, please discuss your plans with management in advance. Approved guests must use the parking on Ledgerock around the fenced property.
Rates vary according to season and certain promotional periods throughout the year may have additional limits or terms that apply based on the promotion. All prices are subject to change without notice (unless secured by a deposit.)
