Please review before your stay!

Check-in & Checkout Policy

The minimum Check-in age is 18 at our Resort. Our Resort does do not allow early check-ins or late check-outs.


Check-In: 3pm.

  • We have a simple, contactless check-in process. After you book a room at Canyon Lakeview Resort, staff will text your Room number and Door code to check in to your room on day of arrival, without the need to visit our on-site office in person. Please be sure to opt into our Whistle text messaging platform to ensure these communications are received.

Check-Out: 11am.

  • Our check-out process is a breeze! Simply press the "lock" button on the keypad on the door before you leave. It’s that simple!

Reservation Policy

Reservation must be paid in full at time of booking. If payment is not able to be processed within 24 hours at time of booking, the reservation will be cancelled.

Cancellation Policy

On date of Purchase:

  • Guests have 24 hours to cancel no charge.


After the initial date of Purchase (24 hours):

  • If a Reservation is canceled 14 days prior to arrival date by 3pm, reservation will be refunded 50% of Reservation. Within 14 days of arrival, your reservation is 100% percent guaranteed with no refunds.

Rescheduling Policy

  • If reservation is rescheduled 14 days prior to arrival date by 3pm, reservations can be rescheduled for a $50 reschedule fee. 
  • If there is a rate increase for the dates you wish to reschedule for, you are responsible for the difference. 
  • If there is a rate decrease, there are no refunds for the difference in the rate you previously booked.

Pet Policy

We’re a pet friendly establishment! 


  • Pets & Service Animals are allowed for a pet fee of $25 USD per night. 
  • A Maximum of 2 pets per reservation please.


Please declare your pets and avoid damages!

  • There is a penalty for not declaring your pets for $50 dollars on top of the pet fee of $25 pet fee for up to 6 nights.
  • Damages to Guestrooms will result in a surcharge of $250 per night, added to your stay. When outside, we do ask that pets are on a leash, and not left unattended. Keep in mind, that we have wild animals on property, so respect our natural environment.

Smoking Policy

We are a non-smoking facility! Please do not smoke in the Guestrooms and outdoor Lodge decks. A surcharge of $250 per night will be added to your stay for smoking in Guestrooms. 

Lost & Found Policy

Resort is not responsible for lost or damaged personal property. For lost & found items, we will gladly hold them for 30 days for pickup. Guests will be responsible for shipping charges if items need to be shipped.

Daily Housekeeping

We do not provide daily housekeeping services for our guests under 7 days. Our hotel does provide light touch ups of trash pickup and towels replacement per request. Guest Services will reach out to take your requests in the morning

Guest Damages

If there is damage to Guestrooms, cost of the damages to Guestrooms will be charged to the credit card on file for Reservation. 

Cabin Hot tubs

Use Hot Tub at Your Own Risk! No children under the age of twelve are allowed in the hot tubs. Please see further Hot Tub policies located in the Guidebook in your Guestroom.

Self-Parking

Lodge Suites

  • One vehicle per Lodge Suite reservation. Please Park along the two-story Lodge building and in front of pool fence.


Lakeview Cabin A

  • Two vehicles allowed plus one boat parking spot adjacent to Cabin A.


Lakeview Cabins B,C,D,E,F

  • Two vehicles allowed per Cabin (no boats)


Additional Vehicles: Please Park along the pool fence.

Boat parking is behind the fence along the perimeter of the property. You will see signs marked Boat Parking.

Seasonal Swimming Pool

Our seasonal pool is open form May 1st to end of September. In house Guests only. Pool Hours are 11am to 8:30pm daily. Swim at Your Own Risk! 

Rock Beach

Rock beach is open all year round, from sunrise to sundown! NO Tents, Glass, Styrofoam, or containers under 5 ounces are allowed on Rock Beach. Swim at Your Own Risk!

Public Grilling Areas

Our Resort has 1 public grilling area for our 18 Lodge Suites. Our Resort also has 1 public grilling area for our 6 Cabins. Only Cabin A has a private grill due to Cabins distance. Be courteous to others and please clean the area carefully before you leave.

What is provided in the Guestrooms?

  • Full-Size towels / Hand towels / Wash cloths
  • Soap & Shampoo
  • Extra pillow & Blanket in closets
  • Coffee maker, Toaster
  • Cable TV / Blu ray Device
  • Basic pots, plate ware and cooking utensils

We do not supply the following:

  • Beach Towels
  • Rollaway beds
  • Additional eating or cooking utensils in Guestrooms
  • Outdoor cooking utensils
  • Can openers / Wine openers
  • Firewood for outdoor firepits
  • Charcoal

What facilities are available outdoors?

What are the Check-in & Check-out instructions?

We have SELF CHECK IN at our Canyon Lakeview Resort – A Welcome Text is sent to the phone number on file with your UNIT NUMBER and 4-DIGIT CODE FOR THE KEYPAD on your unit’s door. This text is issued from GUEST SERVICES, establishing a connection for Guests during there stay.

Are there any special terms and conditions or charges to reservations?

  • All rates are subject to State Hotel (6%) tax and Local W.O.R.D. tax per reservation.
  • You must be 18 years of age to make reservations.

Can I bring my pet?

Absolutely! We’re a pet friendly establishment, but we have four simple rules: (1) Guests must pay $25 fee per pet and register their pet before arriving. Failure to do so, may risk a $50 non-refundable penalty fee on top of pet fee. (2) For everyone’s safety, including your pet’s, all pets must be always on a leash. (3) You must pick up after your pet. (4) Guests can bring up to a maximum of two pets per Guestroom. More details on our Pet Fees may be found on our Policies page.

Can I cook outdoors?

You are welcome to use the steel, park style BBQ grills located throughout the Canyon Lakeview Resort property for cooking. Please note that you must bring your own charcoal, utensils, and lighter fluid. Additionally, personal outside grills are strictly prohibited from being brought onto the property. We love your dedication to the fine art of outdoor cooking, but do not bring your grill with you to Canyon Lakeview Resort. 


When barbecuing please and keep a safe distance from patrons, children, and trees. Please avoid Littering, Propane, and barbecuing in non-authorized areas next to trees, tree roots, or buildings. Barbecuing by anyone 18 years or younger is prohibited. All coal and matches must be disposed of in designated hot coal barrels. Please do not place anything flammable in a regular litter barrel. Use water to extinguish hot coals. Improperly dumped coals or matches can do major damage to our property.

What is the Internet Access like?

Canyon Lakeview Resort is in a rural area. However, we do have cellular Wi-Fi routers available in all our Cabins, Lodge, Lakeview House, and Pool area. 

How late can we stay up at Canyon Lakeview Resort?

We ask that our guests enjoy themselves but respect others’ schedules by observing Resort quiet hours, which start at 9 PM each night. Please no outdoor music, speakers, or microphones after 9 p.m.

Are campfires permitted?

Yes, Campfires are allowed in our 3 designated fire pits. We do insist that you extinguish any campfires every night with water by 9:30pm, for safety of course. Please observe posted information regarding burn bans should they be in effect at the time of your visit. Resort observes quite time after 10pm.


Some campfire etiquette to observe: Please only make fires in the Resort fire pits, never leave a campfire unattended, and put it out completely before leaving your site or going to bed. Please do not burn leaves or bring outside firewood due to pest concerns. For your convenience, staff will have a few logs adjacent to the firepits.

Are campfires permitted?

Yes, there are 3 designated fire pits on the property, We do insist that you extinguish any campfires every night with water, for safety of course. Please observe the posted information regarding burn bans should they be in effect at the time of your visit.



If there is a countywide burn ban in effect, then campfires will not be permitted until burn bans have been lifted by the County.
